Floyd Middle Magnet School Mission Statement
The mission of Floyd Middle Magnet School is to teach all students at higher levels of learning with emphasis on math, science, and technology, in a safe and caring environment.

8th grade PRIDE Ring Information

Students who expressed an interest in purchasing a FMMS Pride ring received a brochure, ordering form, and ring sizers were sent home on Thursday, March 19th. A representative from Herff Jones Pride Program will be coming to the school on Thursday, April 2nd. A non-refundable deposit of $40 or payment in full, for your child's ring, will need to be made on that day.

Please pay by cash or check. If paying by check, please make payable to: GRADPRO and include the student's name and Floyd Middle Magnet School on the check.

FMMS Soccer Team
 Congratulations to  our very talented soccer team and Coach David Brown.  They have won every game this season.
As a result of their undefeated season, we will play in the City Championship.

Spanish Performance 

A selective group of students from Senora Henley's Spanish I class at Floyd Middle Magnet School had the opportunity to perform the opening act to the Justo Lamas Group concert which was held in Prattville High School on March 10th. The dancers were: Anne Marie Tompkins, Camerion Fitts, Adreuna Pinkston, Aldrick Cade, Grace Longpre, Curtis Oliver-Lane, Amber Smith and Olivia Casimir. They danced to the popular Spanish song "Guantanamera". There were also two talented 6th graders from the Exploratory class who performed a gymnastics dance to the song "Eres Tu". They were Kerry Straw and Camyrn Skiba.

National History Day Winner

Congratulations to Brett Bonikowski for placing second at Alabama History Day! Brett’s project has qualified for the National History Day competition in Washington, D.C. in June. 


Panther Pride Booster Club Needs YOU

The PPBC is currently seeking to fill the following positions for the upcoming 2015-16 school year: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Photographer, Communications (Social Media/Website), Fundraiser, Grants, 6th Grade Parent Representative, 7th Grade Parent Representative, and 8th Grade Parent Representative.

Congratulations to the MathCounts Team

The FMMS MathCounts Team competed at the State competition in Huntsville over the weekend. 
The team finished 8th in the State of Alabama. Congratulations!
