Transportation Hotline

Transportation Department will open an information telephone line and email for parents seeking information about their child’s bus route.

Parents may call (334) 223-6900 or send an email to transportationinfo@mps.k12.al.us from July 28 through August 7, Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and August 11 - 21, Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Callers who don’t immediately get through may leave a message, which will be returned by Transportation Department staff as soon as possible. Callers may also leave questions for transportation staff on voice mail after hours. Transportation Director Michael Cox says, the best way to ensure a quick response is to ensure callers and emails have specific information.

All MPS Students to get No-Cost Meals for 2014-2015 School Year

All students enrolled in Montgomery Public Schools in the upcoming school year will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost. The system is participating in a state and federal program called the Community Eligible Provision of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act.
